Frequently asked questions

Here are some common questions about our company.

To rent a car, you need to provide a driver's license; temporary (learner's) driver's licenses are not sufficient.

When renting a car abroad, in some countries, you may need an international driver's license, as well as your own driver's license. Detailed information about the required driver's licenses can be found in the Terms and Conditions of any specific offer.

We provide you with a car with a full fuel tank, and you must return the car with a full tank.

On our website, you can use a credit card, debit card, or PayPal account for payment. The remaining amount will be paid directly at the rental location when you pick up the car. You can also pay the full amount in cash upon arrival.

You can pick up and return the car at the following locations: our main office (66 Rua da Ponta da Cruz, Funchal, Madeira), Forum Madeira, or Madeira Airport.

YES. When you pick up the car, our representative will ask you to leave a deposit for potential damages or theft of the car during the rental period. The deposit/guarantee amount will be temporarily blocked/charged on the main driver's credit card and will be held throughout the rental period.

Once you return the car without any damages, the deposit/guarantee amount will be refunded to your credit card. The refund may take 7 to 21 business days, depending on your bank.

If, for any reason, the main driver's card does not have enough funds for the deposit, you can also pay the deposit in cash.

The deposit/guarantee amount is necessary to cover expenses for fuel shortage to a full tank, speeding fines, parking fines, or in case of car damage, significant delay, or substantial soiling of the car.

Please pick up the car as close as possible to the time specified during the reservation. If you are running late, please contact us to notify us.

Inspect the car

Examine it from all sides on the outside and look inside to check for any damages. If you find any, ask the rental company's agent to make a note of it in the rental agreement. Take photos of the car's initial condition.

Check the fuel type

Check under the fuel tank cap to determine which type of fuel to use (usually labeled 95). If you're unsure, ask the agent before departing.

Inspect the dashboard

Fuel is typically filled to a full tank, which means you should also return the car with a full tank. Test the key, check the instrument panel, and test the headlights and indicators.

Review your route

If your car is equipped with GPS, set it to your preferred language.

Pay attention to

The location of the steering controls, seat and mirror adjustments, and safety belts.

Fuel stations

Identify fuel stations along your route in advance.

Your voucher confirmation will specify the drop-off location and exact time. However, we strongly recommend coordinating drop-off details with the rental representative when you pick up the car.

Your car may be inspected when you return it, or a drop box may be provided to drop off the keys if no one is on-site.

We recommend keeping all documents provided to you.

As soon as you return the car without any damages, the deposit will be refunded to your credit card. This process usually takes between 7 to 21 business days. Please confirm these details with your bank.
